While it’s easy to acknowledge the benefits technology has had on the marketplace, we’ve often overlooked the negative effect it’s had on the individual. An increasingly competitive market has brought with it the expectation that people work faster, harder and longer. The result is a modern workplace that is increasingly leaving people over-stressed and burnt out.

Recent research shows that a significant number of people across Canada, in the US, and beyond are experiencing high levels of stress at work and report feelings of "burn-out". Many also feel that their organization is not doing enough to address this. This is having a significant impact on people’s mental health as well as organizational productivity as a whole.
